Welcome to Role-Play Hair Studio, Victoria, BC's first trans-woman-owned hair salon. Founded by Brae Carnes, an illustrious local stylist and trans rights activist, we believe in the transformative power of hair.

Role-Play Hair Studio is more than just a salon to get a haircut. It's a community of like-minded individuals united by a desire for authenticity, self-expression, and fearless individuality. Our stylists are industry-leading professionals. We are a chair rental studio, meaning each stylist is their own business. To get to this level, a stylist must have a loyal clientele, which means you're always booking with someone who has proven their skill and talent in the community.
