Meet The Team

Brae

She/Her

Oh hey. My name is Brae (she/her); I received a comprehensive and rigorous education at the Aveda Institute of Victoria and take a multi-faceted approach to hair.

As a Master Stylist, I specialize in everything from colour to blondes, vivids, and cuts (she does it ALL). I am an artist first and foremost, and fashion has been a huge inspiration to me. My love for pop culture keeps me invested in current trends and styles.

Inclusivity and human rights are at the root of my being, and I try to tie this into my business the best I can. As an LGBTQ2s+ Rights activist and educator, I built my business with the comfort of my clientele in mind.

I offer gender-affirming hair services and understand from lived experience how powerful these can be. Feminizing my hair was the very first step in my transition, fueling a passion for helping others on their journey to self-embodiment.

I apply my industry skills and life experience to ensure you are seen and understood and always leave looking hot (whatever that looks like for you).

Hello! I'm Zoe, a passionate barber and hairstylist with over a decade of experience crafting diverse and expressive hair designs.

After completing the VIU Hairstylist Program in 2014, I spent three years building my foundation as a stylist within salon environments before transitioning to a career as a barber in 2017.

As a barber, I've dedicated myself to mastering short haircuts, alternative styles, and creative colour placement. My work blends artistry with technical skill to bring your vision to life. Whether you're looking for a bold new look or a subtle change, I'm here to help you express yourself through hair.

Hi, my name is Jess (they/them). I'm a master stylist with 20 years of experience specializing in long hair, K-tip extensions, and scalp health. My passion for hair started at a very young age, when styling hair became my favourite creative outlet, which led me to host any "getting ready" event growing up.

Through many years navigating my personal hair journey, as well as supporting clients on theirs, I've realized my role as a hair stylist is not only about hair but about integrating my gifts as an intuitive space holder, as well as inviting my clients into deeper awareness with their body through their hair and scalp health.

I'm confident in providing an immersive co-creative experience that utilizes somatic and intuitive practices to support the vision my clients would like to bring into their lives.

My Instagram @hairbyjessmunro showcases my diverse skillset and creative passion and although my client list is full I do post last minute cancellations on instagram stories and maybe open to larger transformative projects upon consultation.

Consent, empowerment, and emotional safety are at the forefront of my personal and professional values. My intention/hope is to offer organic free flowing services. Thank you for trusting me.
